Laurens Story

Lauren Foreman,
M.S. Addiction Studies, M. S. edu, is the program director of the Story intensive outpatient program. Her key roles are to oversee the day-to-day clinical and operational needs of the facility.
With over 15 years of experience working with mental health and substance abuse populations, Lauren specializes in addiction disorders, crises, interventions and community mental health. In her current role, she led an interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality care, regulatory, compliance, and program innovation. Before joining Story IOP, Lauren served as program director where she successfully increased the quality of services.
Lauren obtained her Master's science in addiction studies from Capella university and is a licensed counselor. She also has a Master's of Science in education and marriage and family therapy. Her passion is for providing the safest and highest quality of care, reducing the stigma surrounding substitute disorders in mental health and fostering a collaborative work environment.
